Community links
We believe that our faith is as important shared in action as in words.
There are number of ways that we support and serve the communities in which we live, and these are great places to connect in.
Men Aloud
This is a group for men to meet and have a chat and share a cuppa.
Meeting at Cherry Willingham Church Hall on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 2pm
Shoe boxes for Jacob’s Well
Each year Anne, a member of our Cherry Willingham congregation puts together over 100 shoe boxes for Jacob’s well. It’s a mammoth effort and sees folk collecting items through out the year!
Mother’s Union
We meet monthly in Cherry Willingham as well as enjoying social activities together. Check out the upcoming events for our next meeting.
Coffee Mornings
Cherry Willingham host a coffee morning on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 10am.
These are fundraisers for charities. The current charity until Jan 2026 is Water Aid. So far this year we have raised £1000 for the Notts and Lincs Air Ambulance.
Assist
Members of the congregation work alongside other churches in our villages, including to support the work of Assist who offer wellbeing sessions and Cherry Chums- a group for those living with and caring for someone with Dementia.
Teatime
Each Thursday during school term time Reepham Church is open from 2.30pm-4.30pm for a drop in. A chance for people to come for a cuppa, cake and chat. All are welcome.
Foodbank Collections
In many of our churches there are places to drop off donations to the local food bank. We take these to the depot once a fortnight.
